[/blockquote][/blockquote]if you think of a young and jaded city boy, holden might be the image you see. as much of a lighthearted funny boy he seems to be, holden's quite bitter and resentful and uses humor and pranks as his sort of therapy. if you don't laugh, you cry, right? he was born and raised in l.a. and he hates the smog city--mostly because of the fake people and the bad memories. he's been independent since sixteen--emancipated from his parents, who were neglectful, irresponsible and simply not ready to raise a child--and you could say he grew up way too fast, but holden doesn't give two shits.
he started out just wanting to have fun and then he met a girl--blond, beautiful and with typical l.a. get-famous-quick dreams. he thought he was in love and for a while, it seemed like she was too, but then she stamped all over his little boy heart. he wasn't happy, but she opened his eyes to how hurtful people could be. so then holden invested his time in hurting others for comedy's sake. some people would call it pranking. holden calls it payback. it's what he uses to keep himself from getting bored with life.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]holden's got the image of this lighthearted prankster, but he's definitely not as nice or warm as people think he is. that being said, he's not a total jackass and he likes to have a real good laugh. he's a fun dude to be around and he doesn't try to bring anyone down or anything. he probably won't have very many deep, lasting friendships (if any) and he's not the kind of guy you'd call reliable, but if you're looking for a good time or some satisfying conversation, holden's your dude.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]enemies? of course holden has some. he's got friendly rivals in prank wars--on and off the ship--and then there are the not so friendly rivals. people he's crossed one too many times who are tired of his antics or think he needs to grow up or some shit. there are also people who have crossed him at a bad time or who judge him for the things he takes pleasure in. you don't like it, holden doesn't want to hear it. he can be a cheeky little fellow and don't think he'll hold back on punches. he's a troublemaker, but he won't instigate fights. he likes taunting people to the point where they break. it's funny to him.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]ah. well, holden's single and most definitely not looking. he'll sleep with you--i mean, the boy's got needs, but he definitely doesn't want another girlfriend. besides, what girl could keep up with this jungle boy? if there's some girl out there crazy enough to pursue him, holden might entertain the thought and humor her for a bit, but it definitely won't go anywhere. he hasn't regained the ability to trust a woman like that so soon again. best of luck if you try, though.
