Liliane is at a strange place in her life—and considering how unusual her life has been thus far, that really isn’t surprising. She was raised by Lilly and Julie Reese—yes, her two mothers. Liliane would have had a relatively normal childhood if her classmates’ parents hadn’t kept judging her every move based on her own parents’ sexualities. Their low expectations for her fueled her desire to do well in life, and just to piss them off, she got better grades than their kids and sang in the chorus and stole awards from their kids. In high school, she also began to sleep with some of their sons, but that had less to do with showing them up and more to do with her early development and strong sexual desires. She could have gotten into virtually any school she wanted, but she decided to take a year off to move to New York City and try to make a name for herself. While there, she met the guy of her dreams. They dated for about a year, and it didn’t even bother Liliane that he didn’t want to get married, because, well, she didn’t want to get fucking married, okay? Then came the day that she found out that she was actually “the other woman.” That pissed her off more than anything—not that she was the other woman, because she had gotten used to that a long time ago from other guys, but because he went so far out of his way to keep it a secret. She keyed his car, tore up his tires, and left a note with her name and a lipstick seal. His next door neighbor happened to be a cop. Liliane spent that day in jail until Lilly came to bail her out.
Unfortunately, that day in jail caused her to miss a day of work, and as she had a habit of taking “personal days,” that was enough to get her fired. She only had enough money saved for one month’s rent, and she refused to take money from her parents. And that was how Liliane Reese became known to the pornography community as “Marilyn de Moaner.” She starred in about ten “adult films,” as she preferred to call them, and was most well known for her role in “Star Whores.” This idea worked for a while, and Lili made a decent amount of cash—she even had enough leftover each month to start saving up to go back to school and possibly start her own business, something she had dreamed of for years. But it turned out her landlord was an avid porn watcher, and when he recognized her in “Sorority House 3,” he kicked her out of her apartment, claiming that his building was “supposed to be a family-friendly kind of place.” Too proud to tell her parents why she had been kicked out of her apartment, Liliane answered a wanted ad for a position as entertainment in a club on Poseidon, and here she is today.

Somewhere, deep down, Liliane is truly a nice, caring person. But that is very deep down. It’s not that she’s necessarily mean to everyone she meets—she just doesn’t really care for the give-and-take necessary for meaningful friendships. And she doesn’t believe that she really needs friends, either, so usually, even if they consider her to be a friend, she won’t think the same. But that doesn’t mean that she can’t get along with someone who doesn’t mind her constant sarcasm, and it certainly doesn’t mean that she can’t get close to some people. Just don’t expect her to loan you any money or ask you to help her with anything, because Lili is distrusting of people by nature. She wouldn’t be able to befriend anyone who was unnecessarily clingy or needy, either, because she’s very independent. And as for guys…well, she can play the platonic game if need be, but generally, she will attempt to turn most of her friendships with guys into friends with benefits because hey, who better to sleep with than the guy who already knows your work schedule well enough to know when you need to wake up in the morning?

There will be plenty of people in this category. Firstly, Liliane is just a sarcastic and short-tempered person, so there may well be personality clashes and the like. She also doesn’t like to admit that she’s wrong, so any argument is likely to turn into a big ordeal unless the other person is the one to apologize. Of course, Liliane has no qualms about being “the other woman” in most scenarios, so girlfriends of any of her former squeezes would likely end up here, as well as anyone she’s rejected or who’s rejected her—because honestly, that’s just insulting. An idea: it would be interesting if someone in this category found out about her porn gigs and tried to blackmail her, wouldn’t it?

Liliane is a commitaphobe. The thought of depending on another person for emotional gratification disgusts her to her core, and the thought of being trapped into the boundaries of a relationship terrifies her. So it’s highly unlikely that she’ll have any “final” or anything like that, at least not without a long and complex relationship beforehand. Even a shorter relationship, as long as it comes with the title of “girlfriend” and the implication of commitment, will cause her much emotional strife. But that could be interesting. Most people in this category, though, will be short flings, one night stands, or friends with benefits. Liliane is damn good at getting guys in bed—she’s naturally flirtatious, and she knows whether it’s time to flutter her eyelashes innocently and let him take the lead or if the situation calls for her to take a more aggressive approach.
