[/blockquote][/blockquote]born and raised in canterbury, connecticut, grace spent a lot of her time in new york city just to get away from her suffocating small town life. she was the pastor's daughter and basically the leader of her church's choir--but don't think grace is in any way religious. she just liked to sing a lot and the choir was good training. what wasn't good was her home life. her parents never had a very stable relationship and right before grace went off to culinary school, they divorced. grace was at a crossroad in her life--she was going to culinary school just because being a cook seemed like a solid career choice (unlike the unpredictable and fast-paced entertainment industry)--and nothing she was doing seemed quite right. so she dropped out of college and decided to go on a road trip--and of course, she brought along her best friend from childhood, taya fisher. it was on this road trip that grace realized not only was she bisexual, but that she had a raging crush on her best friend.
of course, taya was supposedly straight and grace wouldn't do anything to jeopardize their friendship. luckily enough, on this road trip, she met a lovely man named russell bryant, who tagged along with the girls for a while and quickly became grace's boyfriend. grace was able to push away romantic thoughts of taya and russell was just a nice guy to have around. at the end of the trip, the girls briefly considered going back to connecticut, but there wasn't much there for them, so they abandoned the car and formed a new plan--join the crew on the poseidon's star cruise ship. it's been working for them thus far.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]grace is a friendly enough person and she's pretty easy to talk to, so she'll probably have a couple of friends. not very many close friends though. while she's easy to talk to, she can have a difficult personality and she's not as open as most people think. she would have to spend a considerate amount of time with a person before she could consider them a true friend and really trust them. the people she does hold near and dear to her are very special however and she treasures them more than life itself.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]grace has the tendency to be a diva or to be snappy--especially when she's working under pressure. most of the time, she loves her job, but if things get hectic on the ship, it's best to not approach her. she's kind of like a wounded lioness then. people who make the mistake of bothering her or trying to be friendly when she's in a really bad or sour mood may end up not liking her ever again. grace has no qualms about screaming at somebody or insulting them to get them to leave her alone. she can also be moody and hormonal and has no issues with being bitchy or stubborn. if you offend her or someone close to her, she will probably bitch at you. relentlessly. she can talk and bitch a lot. almost endlessly so. she's not down with physical fights though. not at all.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]well, obviously grace is taken. she's been with her boyfriend for a while now--just over a year and three months. of course, there's that situation with her crush on taya... basically, grace is full up with her romantic problems. a crush or two on her would be flattering (and she's not always as confident as she seems, so it'd be nice), but don't expect her to return the feelings. of course, you never know how things will end up and maybe grace will be available again in time.
