andrea is an actress and she's come on board to try and relax and have a little non-work-related fun. she was born in florida, but moved to l.a. once her acting career launched when she was young. she has an older brother who is 24 and suffers from a bad drinking problem. the problem started when andrea became the center of their parents' focus and he was shifted off to the side and neglected. she hasn't spoken to her brother in two years and doesn't know where he is or what he's doing.

andrea is just looking to have a good time. she's a party animal and craves nightlife. she doesn't hold herself above any of the other people on the ship - she's just another vacationer. her vibrant and sometimes rambunctious personality can be a bit intimidating for some people to handle, but once you actually get to know her as a person and not just a celebrity, she is fiercely loyal and protective of her friends and slightly insecure and vulnerable, though she doesn't often show it.

-FRIENDS?
andrea wants someone that won't stab her in the back or sell her out or just want to be her friend because she's famous. she wants someone she can get drunk with and look like a total idiot with and still have a blast. she can be slightly picky with her friends because in l.a. you never know who you can trust, so if she feels comfortable she'll be more likely to warm up to you. sometimes, when she's intoxicated she doesn't seem very approachable and her outspoken personality can get her in a bit of a sticky spot with people. when she's sober, all she wants is for someone to look past what they already may (think) they know about her and give her a chance to show people she's more than just a pretty face.

-ENEMIES?
some people might not like her because of some preconceived idea about her from the tabloids, and she just accepts that every person has haters and there's nothing you can really do about it. maybe her personality clashes with yours or you just simply don't get along - problems every person faces. however, she's not too fond of giving out second chances, so if you anger or judge her right from the get go, chances are she's not going to let you off the hook so easily. however, if you dislike her for no reason, she'll probably straight up ask you why you're being so judgmental.

-LOVERS?
andrea isn't really looking for a permanent relationship - yet. her crazy schedule just wouldn't work with a lot of people that want to settle down and have something real. she'll hook up with you but don't expect her to be yours forever and ever amen. also, again with the trust issue, she can never be sure if someone likes her for the right reasons, hence her hesitation to actually pursue a soulmate. if mr. right happened to come knocking on the door of her suite, she would be reluctant to get too emotionally attached, because if she got too involved it would be an inevitable heartbreak at the end. she doesn't want to push herself into something too early because right now she's not in it for the long run - she just wants to have a little fun.

damien&andrea

damien can relate to andrea about the whole 'friends who won't step on you or leak your songs for money', so maybe they could be friends. but i imagine a rather strained relationship, because damien also doesn't trust people easily, and if she can't relax her guard to be around him, he's can't drop is guard around her either. so maybe something along the lines of them being good drinking buddies, a little bit of emotional support, but they only would interact when they run into each other? idk. just throwing something out there.

i agree that they would make good acquaintances/friends. she would be more likely to let her guard down and be more a friend to him while she's not sober so drinking buddies sounds appropriate. naturally she'd understand that he has trust issues as well so she wouldn't try to force a friendship with him but rather just let whatever happens, happen. it makes sense, haha, i like where it's going!

So I think Spencer and Andrea would actually be really good friends. Spencer's already using Andy Wisher to get a little boost of fame (since she is an aspiring actress), so she won't really be seeking that from Andrea. I can definitely see these two running into each other during some crazy night on Poseidon and just having a great time together and not caring about anything else. Spencer is hardly ever completely sober and she does have a serious drinking problem, so I don't know if that'll trigger something with Andrea and her older brother, but maybe that'll be interesting? Anyway, regardless of what kind of relationship they have, I think Spencer will be very fond of her.

andrea & holden

Surprise, surprise--Holden wouldn't be too fond of Miss Ames here. Naturally, he's going to prank her, since he does that with everyone, but he'd also dislike her because of her affiliation with Hollywood and fame. He's a very bitter guy that way. Expect some trouble from him.

andrea & grace

Possible party buddies? But strictly so--Grace is a very closed off person, even when she's out partying. She doesn't drink that much and while she might be fun for a while, I feel like she and Andrea would clash for some reason. I think they'd be the kind of party buddies that wouldn't go out alone together, you know? Like, they'd always have to have one more person with them.

andrea & tristan

Hmm. I'm not quite sure what to do with this one. Tristan's certainly not part of the party scene on Poseidon (though that could be subject to change if the right person can convince him that it's not all that bad), so party/drinking/etc. buddies is out of the question. But I think Tristan would like Andrea sober. He's not a terribly judgmental guy and he's a total sweetheart and he loves making vacationers feel at home. He'd definitely think Andrea was gorgeous and would shoot a compliment or two her way whenever he saw her. He's just nice that way. :3 Maybe they could eventually grow to be friends?

i just read spencer's bio and it seems that these two are quite alike actually! i can see andrea liking her a lot because of their similar partying habits and personalities. as for her drinking problem, andrea would probably be uneasy about it at first because of her brother, but often she pretends she doesn't even have a brother. she knows better than to interfere with other peoples' problems because she knows how defensive they can be about that kind of thing so she wouldn't really verbally acknowledge anything about it. i can definitely see a friendship between them, though because they definitely share the same attitude.

andrea & holden

andrea's not afraid of confrontation so she'd probably outright ask him what his problem with her is. i think it'd be funny for her to get pranked though, to experience a little humility. she'd probably brush it off and act like she doesn't care, but she would probably avoid him after. i think it'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

andrea & grace

i definitely think that they would be friends, yes, but awkwardly so. i completely agree with what you said, and don't really have much to add so we'll just leave it at that and let whatever happens with them happen!

andrea & tristan

at first, andrea would definitely be a little suspicious and wary of his nice guy attitude, because she knows that sometimes people only act sweet when they want something. after awhile she'd probably hear that he actually is a nice guy and she'll begin to trust him. she'd definitely become his friend after she's convinced he is a good person and she'd be grateful for it.
